In short. The site itself does not set cookies. It saves a few small items in your browser's local storage so it can remember your choices. Cookies can also come from Google when advertising or analytics is switched on, as explained below.
Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small text file that a website, or a service it uses, asks your browser to keep, and that is sent back on later requests. Local storage is a similar feature of your browser that keeps small pieces of data on your device, but it is not sent to the server automatically. Both are used to remember things between visits.

These items are created by the site's own scripts, stay on your device and are never sent to our server.

These items are strictly about how the site works for you. The tools still work if you block them, but your preferences will not be remembered.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Ads are not being shown on this site right now, so no advertising cookies are set. If AdSense is switched on, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies in your browser to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure results and, where you have not opted out, personalize ads. Examples of cookie names Google uses for this include __gads and __gpi.

Analytics cookies
This site does not currently use an analytics service, so no analytics cookies are set. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
How to control cookies
- On this site. Where Google's consent message is shown, you can change your choice with the controls it provides.
- In your browser. All major browsers let you block cookies, delete them and clear site data. The help pages of your browser explain how.
- Private browsing. Many browsers delete cookies and local storage when you close a private window.
Blocking cookies does not stop any of the color tools from working.
